Amanda completed her pupillage, and accepted tenancy, with NSQB in December 2024. She has already developed a thriving practice across all of chambers' areas of expertise.

Amanda gained a First Class LLB (Hons) Degree at the University of Hertfordshire where she received the Judge’s Prize for attaining the highest grade. She was awarded a full academic scholarship and completed her Master of Laws Degree alongside the Bar Professional Training Course at Northumbria University, again receiving the highest mark on the course.

Amanda accepts instructions in both public and private children law proceedings (adoption, foster care, interim care orders, child arrangements orders, prohibited steps orders and specific issue orders). Amanda is also regularly instructed in applications for non-molestation orders and occupation orders. In addition, she accepts instructions in financial remedy matters to include First Directions Appointments, Financial Dispute Resolution hearings and final hearings.

She has represented parents, guardians and intervenors in a variety of family law proceedings; including multi-day final hearings for care and placement order applications. These have included complex trials and fact-finding hearings pertaining to parental alienation, serious sexual abuse, and non-accidental injuries. Amanda is particularly adept in handling vulnerable clients, regularly representing clients who have suffered domestic abuse and her attention to detail has assisted with the resolution of factual disputes in private law matters, negating the need for any fact-finding hearing.

Amanda is an excellent communicator and she has built and maintained relationships with her instructing solicitors by providing exceptional client care and has been continuously reinstructed.

Following her call to the Bar in 2022, Amanda gained valuable experience as a County Court Advocate, attending an extensive range of civil matters including; mortgage possession, landlord and tenant, debt recovery, insolvency, infant approvals, civil litigation and small claim trials and accepts instructions in all these areas.

Prior to commencing her legal education, Amanda worked extensively as an actress, singer and dancer in the West End of London, performing leading roles in many musicals including; Cats, West Side Story, Singing in the Rain and Chicago.
